Crossed my mind too. 

Eugene was the best part about the Panthers radio team imo. And I tell you what, he was not faking that enthusiasm one bit. I ran into him once at the start of halftime of a preseason game and he was fired up as if he has just come off the field himself.

This, if you're listening to a game and its 3rd and long, Mixon a lot of times will say the ball is caught with no excitement and doesnt hint at how long the pass was and 15-20 seconds later after he rambles about the play, he'll finally let the cat out of the bag if we're punting, or if it was enough for a first down.  Drives me insane.

The only decent part of the radio team is Szoke. Mick is beyond awful, and Eugene- for all of his exuberance was hard to listen to. The entire presentation was not NFL level quality

Eugene had an amazing level of knowledge when it came to discussing what had just happened - or what was about to happen - on a given play

Fair enough.. I still think Mick is the bigger earsore (?)... hopefully this is just step one in getting a quality radio broadcast team in place.

Eugene was better with Bill as a partner. He over-powered Mick.
