This. It was time to move on. He offered something we lacked when we were still rolling with KB and Funchess. With our current roster he just doesn't offer anything that the guys higher up the depth chart don't.

He's contract was cheaper then the tender price. Its a no brainer not to tender him. I expect them to sign him later if they really need a returner or if someone get injured.

Injuries aside, he’s been a pretty solid return guy. If the money is right, why not bring him back later?
