I mean, what do you expect?  We aren't exactly rolling in dough.  Signing Reid, Paradis, and Williams are huge moves for us.  Hurney has done a great job so far (outside of the Torrey Smith re-signing)

Exactly. It's fuging pathetic people still talk about him to justify their egos and to say they're "right" about him being gone. 

 

I'm glad he's gone now and apparently Hurney has learned good things from Dave. Maybe this is what needed to happen in order for Hurney to see the light.

I think Hurney did learn from Gettleman regarding having patience and avoiding relying on loyalty and emotional responses.  Gettleman did good things especially early on. Gettleman's hubris and ego we're ultimately his undoing. It is a shame Dave didn't learn any of Marty's people skills. It would have been a win-win for both.

I know this is waaay early but judging on free agency only, herniay is having a 10x better one than last year. I will say value/price wise it looks GREAT, rather than the complete opposite of years past ie 2 highest RB contracts, paying top dollar to 3 LBs.
