Unfortunately, I do think this is the worst case scenario.

I'm skeptical all around that Moton is as easy of a plug-n-play at LT and Williams is truly that great. Film hasn't been kind to Williams and I know 99% of people on here just listen to whatever the AP media/PFF writers say.

But maybe I'm wrong. And I hope I am, because Cam's health depends on it lol.

Kalil sucks and there's a high chance he ends up on IR anyway. Williams isn't great, but he's solid.

Keep thumping your chest about your "film study" and worship of Twitter analysts no one has ever heard of and for good reason. We all remember how Funchess was going to to excel as our #1 WR and Worley being better than Bradberry. LOL!

I'd still take a long look at OT at #16. Insurance just in case Moton doesn't pan out on the left, and or if Williams has a monster year and we can't pay him in FA. Then you have the option of moving Moton to RT and sliding in drafted OT.

At this point we need OG, DE, LB and S.

Whatever happened to Mahon, pick from past years draft?

I’m torn on that. I understand the need for a franchise tackle but we may very well have that in Williams and or Moton.   A first round tackle sitting on the bench grinds my gears a bit.

We have nothing at DE and I think at this point is probably the better choice in the first round.

With the injury history, I don’t know that our draft strategy should change too much. Defense of end, offensive tackle, offensive guard

Oh yeah I still hope we take a tackle by round 3 just in case.. but makes it easier to look at passrush first which is our biggest glaring hole now besides FS.

6 million tied to an injured overrated tackle and 5 million on torrey smith. christ.

C'mon man, you are really reaching..  Shouldn't you be applauding the short term of the deal.  Like if you think he is overrated then cool, you should feel happy that it is only one year, not bitching about 6mil.

O-Line actually looking fairly solid now!

switch out Paradis for Ryan (which is basically what we did) and it is exactly the same. Williams, Turner, smart veteran center that we hope is healthy after being injured the year before, VanRoten/Larsen/Silatolu, Moton.

He's looking for a reason to be upset because Billy Marshall doesn't like daryl williams

Oh 6 million is the figure being reported.

kill me lmao.

It’s a one year prove it deal. These kinds of deals are great for the team. We are suffering at oline, give him one year to prove it. If not we are out 6 million that would go to what exactly? No dline that matters is going to be cheap and that’s all we need. Could argue it won’t roll over to next years cap but I’d honestly rather see if he can come back because as I said, we need a RT.

Furthermore if this means trying Moton at LT it’s even better. What options do we have right now at LT? LT rookies rarely pan out or would be better than Moton though I’d still like to draft one.

Can’t see how this is a bad deal in more ways than good.
