Easily they win this trade and it isn't even close. They get rid of his contract, the team is in a rebuild and will have a new young qb soon. OBJ just didn't fit with the plans.

Going to be funny when the Browns offense becomes the Chiefs overnight.

Giants had a elite RB and elite WR and broke them up for a 1st round pick and Peppers.lol

What is lost in all this is the fact the OBJ has played with Eli for his entire career. He is going to explode now that he has a QB like Mayfield. I expect the Browns to have a massive turnaround. That team is stacked on both sides of the ball.

Cleveland won this trade and it aint even a debate. Watch them become contenders after this.

I don’t feel like going back and forth but while there were a lot of Hurney guys, they hadn’t been to the playoffs since 2008 until Short, Star, Oher, Turner, Norwell, Coleman and a bunch of others filled a lot of holes due to Hurney’s horrific 2008-2012 drafts. Our best year was 3 offseasons in to Gettleman’s run.

Also, I know KB is mentally unstable but he did have 2000 yards and 16TDs in his first two seasons. The production was there but his knee pretty much ruined him and turned him into what he is today. In preseason 2015, he was looking like he took a leap from his rookie year. He played one preseason game and got the better of Stephon Gilmore. If he was healthy, he makes a difference in the Super Bowl. His 6-91 1 TD against Denver in 2016 would have been better than Cotchery not making a routine catch and thus letting a Denver fan make a crucial call.

I’m not going to defend Gettleman’s bad moves or say he’s doing a good job with the Giants (I honestly don’t give a fug), but to go back and act like he didn’t build a “team” around a handful of stars that was capable of winning a title is just silly. We should have won that Super Bowl. We were absolutely the better team but our coaching wasn’t on par with Wade Philips. Shula did nothing to help our tackles and Denver knew exactly what we’d do and Tolbert sucked.

I agree he supplemented the core well.  And I agree we should've won regardless of our deficiencies in that SB, but coaching...

I just feel like many of the moves he made in that short-term had long-term consequences, and that was my lasting impression.

He's missed 21 games in his career, 16 in the last two years. He has attitude issues, he hasn't been a team player in NY. Additionally just in the last week after AB trade it's reported he asked for a new contract after getting one last year because he's no longer the highest paid WR.

AB who's a better WR then OBJ got a 3rd and 5th. NY got a 1st, 3rd and a starting safety for OBJ. At his cap hit and what Cleveland paid to get him he would have to get 16 tds and 1500+ to bring value. He hasn't ever hit those numbers in his 5 year career. So no, it's not even close.
