You should follow your own advice. You were implying that Hurney wasn't signing anyone who wasn't a Panther before free agency.

First outing as a QB, he leads a touchdown drive against a division rival. Then he gets his elbow hurt bad, comes back in the game and toughs it out while Saints defenders are actively targeting it (Sean Payton is a total prick) and our offensive line is making off season travel plans.

That first drive showed a lot of potential, the rest showed that the kid is tough as nails. 

He's a Panther again and we owe him a few cheers and a lot of well wishing.

So which is it? Am I going to hoot and holler about Hurney overpaying free agents or was I implying that Hurney wasn't signing anyone who wasn't a Panther before free agency?

Small sample size for both but I thought Allen played better and more upside, he has just as much chance of being a diamond in the rough as any QB we take later in the draft. Honestly either we can protect Cam and he bounces back and returns to being Superman or this season is hosed anyways and the whole team is getting blown up. I’d rather spend our draft picks and resources on the other holes on our roster and give Cam the best chance he can to make this team overachieve, again. That’s Ron and hurneys only shot at saving their asses so I hope they realize it.
