They can't blame me for bad additions if I don't sign anyone

If you're not first you're last. The FA market is going to be washed up after the first 2-3 days. We better sign someone quick or we will be left with a below average starter or a backup.lol

Shake n' Bake!

Honestly after about 15-20 guys this free agent class is awful, much prefer the "cut/waived" class. In fact, that's very similar to the last couple of years. I'm not over-spending cause others are.

Some of the dumbest moves of free agency are the first day signings. Lots of great big signings by really bad teams. Maybe it's best to let the suckers dive in first.

I've never been a fan of jumping into free agency early.

The market right now may not be doing is any favors, but even so I wouldn't want us following the Redskins model.

The most consistent winning franchises tend to stay out of the early free agent frenzy.

Granted, we're not one of those, but the principle is still sound.

People used to poo on Hurney for overpaying dudes but today he stands pat after making a couple low key re-signings and will probably sign some FAs to reasonable deals later on but the Huddle is somehow in meltdown mode in March. We just went though a season where the Panthers lost 7 games in a row, I can deal with a day where they don’t break the bank for average players like the Matt Kalil contract.

I love all the "crazy money out there y'all, let's chill".  It's the NFL, pay to play or sit your ass down and essentially send out the message that we're fine just as we are.  We aren't, we've got holes everywhere, and we make no moves except keeping Torrey Smith and Colin Jones around.  Hurney got this right.  Ron and Marty, FOH

With all the holes we have and very limited cap theres not much he can do unless you want him to spend everything we have and keeping fuging our cap up year after year.

Yeah we learnt that lesson when we had bum Hurney as our GM for 10 years.

That guy sucked.
