Thought there was a decent chance DT Kyle Love would re-sign w/ Panthers. But that's looking less and less likely for Love, who was productive last season at 32.

Panthers trying to get younger defensively. Love trying to capitalize on a terrific '18. Maybe they can work something out down the road, but no sense of optimism at present.

There’s also some scheme role to this, Love isn’t a great fit in a 3-4 which is something the Panthers seem to be pushing more in 2019.

Also, despite the perception, Love took a step back in terms of TFL, QB Hits and Sacks in 2018. A lot of that is to do with DL as a whole, but the idea that he had a breakout year is confusing.

damn, Hopefully that guy from Miami we drafted in the 7th round last year can step up. This DL is a fuging mess and is not good enough to win as it stands currently.
