REPORT: ESPN going to a two man booth next year. No Greg Olsen.

No one can replace Jason Witten.

More accurately, no one will replace Jason Witten.

Jim Miller, who wrote the definitive oral history of ESPN, said in an appearance on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast (via SportsBusiness Daily) that the four-letter network likely will go with a two-person booth for Monday Night Football in 2019. Joe Tessitore will handle the play-by-play responsibilities, and Booger McFarland will provide the analysis.

Miller added one caveat: A third person would be added to the team, if Peyton Manning would agree to be the third person.

ESPN apparently didn’t nudge Witten out of the booth. Miller said that, although plenty of people at ESPN were disappointed by Witten’s performance, ESPN had hoped to give him another season in the hopes that his performance would improve.

My jealous ass fuging hates booger for the sole fact that he has the greatest job in the world. He gets to go to games and be on the sidelines and sit on a cart with an amazing view of the action and follow along whilst saying dumb stuff and getting paid handsomely for it.

They're scrapping the boogermobile too, so don't be too jealous.

Booger makes my ears bleed but at least its not Booger and Witten so thats a plus I guess...

Booger was actually the best of the three though.  Obviously not saying much, but Joe Tessitore is an absolute joke, and Witten either was scared/nervous as hell, or he's had 20 too many concussions.  The dude sounded legit brain damaged

Sounds like ESPN is ran like the Panthers organization.

That thing had to go. Could you imagine being a fan that paid damn good money for lower level seats just to have that fat ass on his forklift parked in front of you? Damn, that would suck.
