I mean.  I never debated Humphries wasn't far better.  But people were acting like we'd be able to dump Smith and grab Humphries or Tyrell Williams for similar

Yeah, the teams setting the market haven't helped our cause.  With the cap space we have, we're forced to let the market settle and hope guys left on the second-tier wait it out long enough that our best offer will be competitive whenever we make it.

On that front, Roaring Riot pointed this out.

That might screw us out of a realistic shot at Matt Paradis.

Yup.  Make that third-tier guys then lol.  We are getting priced out pretty quickly.

Also, F the Bills again.  Are they contractually obligated to ruin all of our plans?

I mean, to be fair, Beane's job is to help his team, not ours.
