may have been fed information to be used as a trial balloon. bills would do it to gauge brown's reaction and the steelers would do it for leverage over brown.

brown didn't harness his power just to get shipped off to a place he doesn't want to play. that's the whole point of this to begin with. any team he suits up for will be a team he wants to suit up for.

Brown has very little power, and the Steelers will send him wherever they want to. He can then decide to play for that team or not but the Steelers have no reason to bend to his will.

Nah, he still has more power than most players in his situation.  He's already said he "doesnt have to play."  So, if he makes it clear he would retire before playing for Buffalo, why would Buffalo make that deal still?

I've never known Rapoport to completely whiff on a scoop...  but, I guess there's a first for everything.

I dont think he did. believe it was close, Bills reached out to him and he laughed and said nope not happening. Trade dead.

lol he does have power. No team is going to trade decent draft picks for him if he is not committed to playing for them. That would be stupid. AB could threaten to retire and that would kill talks.

I think this is a rumor just to make other teams up their offer for Friday.
