Antonio Brown to the Bills (or maybe not)

They give up Amari Cooper to get a first round pick, then turn around and give that pick to the Steelers to get Brown. Isn't that essentially trading Cooper for Brown, but tying up a lot more cap space?

I am thinking that the Raiders want to use those picks to bring in young and relatively cheap talent with an eye at competing for a Superbowl when they move to Vegas.

It would be a classic Raider move to get someone like Brown.  In their heyday the Raiders thrived on providing a home to other teams disgruntled players.

Looks like he is going where I thought from the start to the Raiders. He posted on his Instagram saying he will announce his team in little bit. Then the guy was saying he was already in the black & gray already. Done deal and we can quit hearing about it lol.

His terms are, "us this where I want to be? Is this my ideal situation?" If the answer is no, then he'll make an ass of himself so that the trade falls apart just like it did in Buffalo.

They can make him go (or, rather, his contract), but they can't force him on the field. They can't make him practice or play. He can retire or decide to just pay the fines if he wants to play.

Eventually whatever team gets him in that situation will get tired of messing with him and cut him loose and he'll get picked up by some desperate team with deep pockets or some team that is likely to get him a ring and go cheap.

If it's money or a Lombardi he wants, he'll sit and wait until he can get it. It will be the situation he wants or no situation at all and he retires. That's his terms.

But he said he already has enough money, that he's rich....so doesn't seem like going somewhere "for the money" is within his set of terms & conditions.

At the time I was asking those questions most were convinced the Bills deal was gonna happen, which by definition would mean Browns "terms" were no factor at all....because the Bills ain't in the hunt for "a Lombardi"!
