You almost have to wonder if Bezos wealth scares the league a little. If it comes down to it how do you control a guy like that? He can single-handidly afford to litigate the other 31 owners into bankruptcy over any dispute.

Pretty interesting observation.  On subject of "control", you are correct....Bezos lives by a different set of rules.  That said, wasn't Bezos a guest of Goodell at the Super Bowl this year?  Bottom line is owners select new owners and I think your supposition that they'd be hesitant to admit Bezos to the club has merit.   

Tepper also has F-U money and as evidenced by the Eric Reid signing he's not afraid to play the F-U money card. 

Paul Allen was kind of an absentee owner during his tenure, in 21 years he only attended 4 owners meetings.  He was also a bit of a pacifist on a personal level.

Tepper is the opposite.  Of all the owners who are engaged/involved, and he is in that group....Tepper is the smartest, and wealthiest....gonna be real interesting to watch his behaviour over the years.
