the eagles are gonna release vick...not official, but it pretty obvious. reid has that same approach to on again off again donovan as fox has to horse boy...

pick up vick, make the pass a threat, get a back that can throw the ball and is a wildcat only player, komoeatu comes back next year ...bam...superbowl anyone?

you can not sit there and tell me that delshithead is better than vick!!! not only that, but vick comes cheap, and he has the capability of opening up the middle for even more of a run threat. (remember how many bootleg yards that guy got?) Vick is the only option we have, thats credible, till we can get back with a first round pick. Period. No body getting let go by there teams at the end of the season is worth a damn. and a F/A is to expensive considering jakes contract

Kemo is probably done for his career, and if he does come back next year he will prob be cut due to his cap number. yes I know no cap next year, but he is still making to much money for what he does. Just look at Thomas, he is making the minimum and is doing as good a job as Kemo did.

Also, theres no way in hell we pick up Vick. We want a QB, not a RB who sometimes throws.

i would think that someone with the name delhomeboy, would not want to hear anything negative about his idol...:beatdeadhorse5::beatdeadhorse5: JAKE SUCKS!!!!! DEAL WITH IT

Jake is not my "idol" my friend...I choose my screen name over five years ago, back when he was actually good.

No, I think there's very few people here who do not think a change needs to be made. But what you are considering is removing a quarterback with bad accuracy and no upside for another quarterback with equally bad accuracy and no upside.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Delhomeboy again.

if you look at vicks stats... his acuracy was fine UNTIL 04...that was when the falcons front started to colaspe. if you also notice, in 04 that was when he started to RUN ALOT more...because he had no protection

with our front ...this guy can put that balls on target.

sorry, copy paste didnt work...here is the link

even with lots of int's from tryin to run and throw, he still had over a 70 passer rating...comeon guys, give this guy his due...he aint tom brady, but he aint jake delhomme either

    • Yeah, I am not 100% against trading down but it needs to be at the right price. Also, because this appears to be a draft lacking in a lot of elite prospects, trading down could potentially backfire(as it always can, I suppose) or net a lower yield than typical. I just don't want to be fumbling around and reaching, which in the Tepper era has been a CONSTANT problem. The organizational impatience(and incompetence) been murderous.
    • Yeah I said that earlier all or most of these guys are broadcasting or doing the little Huddle show and stuff like that, they are affiliated this season.  I think Cam went in using the ESPN tack because it stuck it to Tepper and didn't criticize a player and that worked for him. Plus he ended up working for ESPN.....
    • Sports are a different animal. It's gladiator poo. You wouldn't go out and put the uniform on of the best burger maker in your neighborhood either. So, when we watch these athletes being amazing and giving their all, it is for more than just a check. The guys that are truly driven and love these games, they are doing it for many more reasons than the money. Boiling it down to a simple transactional thing is simplistic, at best. So, yeah, I can understand how Cam can feel jilted when other great Panthers are trotted out and honored by the organization and he isn't. Especially considering he is overwhelmingly the best QB to have ever played for us and literally put this franchise into the national spotlight because of the player he was, the things he accomplished and the personality that he is. So....yeah, I would be upset about that too if I were in his shoes. The money, that the business side. That other poo, that's personal.
