Antonio Brown: If New Team Won't Play by My Rules...I Don't Even Have to Play

So this just became a issue at the end of the season?

What about the other 4 years when he was one of the best WR's in the league?

You said he has never caused problems on the field --- fake news.

Brown is unstable....unfortunately his long-running off-field instability has now manifested itself in the on-field arena....no going back from here, guy is off the rails.

Hes a problem now. In the present. Which is whispering the problem.

I'm sure he was a nice little boy but he's a 31 year old expensive  attitude problem going in to the season....which is all that matters.

Bingo.

Pass Go, Collect $200.

If you talking off the field yeah he has some issues, but on the field he has caused no problems.

Report: Antonio Brown unexcused absence in Week 17 wasn’t the only time he left Steelers in 2018

“He left the team three times. Once for a week in training camp that they covered up. They said he had an injury and he really didn't. Once on a Monday after they lost to Kansas City and he threw a fit on the sidelines and didn't show up Monday, and then at the end of the season.”

Kinda like McNabb to Owens was?

Owens was a beast his first year with the Eagles before he got injured. Next season he got pissed about his contract and we all know how the rest of that story unfolded.

Cam and AB have an off the field relationship already which was something Owens and McNabb never had.

I've stated before the most I would give up is a 3rd and a 5th and try and get the Steelers to eat some of the salary which would be worth the risk imo.

Want to remind me the last time we had a 1000 yard wide receiver?

The Super Bowl champs didn't have a 1000 yard wide receiver either. We went 11-5 last year without one. We went 15-1 in 2015 without one. The last time we had one we went 7-8-1.

For a guy who claims to want to be traded he sure does seem to be going out of his way to tank his trade value.

I'm thinking it's by design.  He doesn't benefit from whatever his trade value is, the Steelers would...  and if they are indeed asking for a first rounder, he may see that as a barrier to getting where he wants to go.  So, if he tanks his own value, it increases his chances of getting moved for lesser value, I would think.

I don't think that the Steelers have granted him permission to seek a trade partner yet. This keeps the ability to communicate with and select a trade partner totally in their hands.  Until they allow him to talk to another team, these displays of "conduct detrimental" are pretty much all he has to try and get that permission.

Just watched a recent interview. The dude is really at the "Britney Spears shaving her head in the midst of a fame-induced mental breakdown" moment.

He and reality are getting farther and farther apart. I hope he gets some help before he hits the wall.
