I'm laughing because u think it would happen. We have no cap room dude, we have to fix this team. Brown will not help this team even if we had money.

We currently have 17 mil in cap room available. Lets not lie to make yourself look good.

For me, it's a lot less about any potential locker room effect and a lot more about how acquiring him would put serious restraints on our ability to address far more pressing roster concerns. Address our pass rush and figuring out our OT situation has to be 1a and 1b right now with everything else a distant 2nd.

If you could trade for his current contract, as is, the gamble MIGHT be worth a look. At 12M/yr with none guaranteed. the only risk would be what you trade for him.

But between the issues you mentioned, AB wanting a new deal, and that he would rip this team apart before November, he’s is not even worth discussing.

17 million is not that much cap space, especially not when you've got multiple needs.

The formula for a lot of folks is "sign a great player, become a great team".

It'd sure be nice if it were that simple.

AB is talking like a guy that doesnt know he has 3 years left on his current deal. His dead cap number 21 mil this season, 14 next year and 7 the last year when he will be 33 years old! its no way the Steelers just cut him, they will let him rot before they cut him.

thats a hard hard pass.

Yeah im sure the best WR in football will never play again...

Most talented, yes. Best to help the team win games? Absolutely not. The guy is easily one of the biggest cancers in the league and will never win a SB. Teams are stupid and think they can make it work with guys like him because “the talent outweighs the headache” so of course that won’t happen. But it should. The guy needs a serious attitude check.
