Some notes from my source involving the NFL draft

That's kind of where I'm at, I definitely want a pure LT (Dillard/Little), but the safest guy is probably Bradbury

A lot of the guys I really trust when it comes to player evals like Dillard quite a lot. His pass protection is so damn good, and that's so valuable in the league today. Not sure he's going to be Orlando Pace but I think he's going to hold his own as an NFL LT for years to come. That's damn hard to find. Cam is so damn good at working the pocket anyways.

Dillard from day one is a significant upgrade over the Matt Kalil's and Chris Clark's we've stuck over there since the retirement of Gross. Getting some stability at that position would be huge.

So out of the options for our first (IMO)

Dillard
Bradbury
Ford (Least likely imo)
Little

Which one would y'all have the least issue with at 16?

All:poison:. Not happening anyway. We are not taking Bradbury in first after signing Paradise, no way Ford is that high, and Little is an second rd pick. Dillard is near there but we are not going tackle not with Sweat coming to us now

Bradbury would play guard.

No he won't. .. OMG would marty be dumb to signed the best FA C and draft the best C to play 1 at guard . Especially when both fit perfectly at C.. This is just like your Little opinion right now.

Why not?

The same reason they tried Kali at guard his rookie year and realized how stupid that was.. Putting a potential All pro C at a position he was meh.. at.. Bradberry is a 10 year potential all pro center not a good guard...

Bradbury played guard early in his career in college and was one of the better guards in the country...

I don't care what he did his freshmen year.. He is a all pro Center.. Team are looking at him as the best Center to come thru in years.  You have a Pro bowl caliber Center you just signed in Free agency.   That would be dumb playing guys away from their best position instead of just getting a guard..

I respect your source and the info you have but some of your opinions lately are straight up asinine..

If you want a guard then take a guard in Lindstorm or Jordan. If you want a center then take a center. I’ve seen Hurney made plenty of terrible mistakes in the past in trying to convert guys into another position (sherrod martin/godfrey) and he did it again last year with Gaulden. No more please.

Exactly.. If we want a guard than why not get the best guard in the draft?? We are in position for that..

Martin was a safety in college.

Godfrey started 2 years at safety and 2 at corner at Iowa.

Gaulden played safety, cornerback and nickel at Tennessee

Doesn't change his point.. They were Tweeners coming out..  And I liked Godfrey.. But if you want a guard .. Why draft a 1st round center just draft a 1st rated guard..

Paradis' contract is cutable after 2 years. Somebody might be thinking ahead.
