Have we all seen WR D.K Metcalf?

How can Brown be the product of a system while a far superior athlete is supposedly this elite NFL WR prospect while doing far less in that same WR friendly offense?

Um injuries?

The dude coming off a foot injury during his Freshman season

So his first full seasons came out with 600+

Then this year was suposed to be his break out, then goes out halfway through the season with a injury with 500+ yards.

Glad we're labeling guys a bust due to lack of production when he's off the field due to injury

God forbid Simmons is slow returning from his ACL or he may be a bust for post 0 sacks in 2 games

Thomas also played how many more games.

Metcalf didnt even play 2 season

Thomas played 39 games, and was their only guy really being targeted

Metcalf play 21 sharing the ball with several other guys

Somehow we're back to this idea of being injury prone somehow being a positive. I don't think I've ever seen that sounds.

Those guys "sharing" the ball with Metclaf also draw the D away from him. When you're offense is throwing for 4000+ yards, there's plenty to go around. If Metcalf could've handled it, they would've been feeding him instead of Brown.

If this dude showed up without a body builder's physique and ran a 4.5 y'all wouldn't care about him. You're making the classic mistake of falling foe the workout warriors, but don't feel bad. Some GM with a high 1st round pick is gonna do it too.

Injuries? Injuries don't explain why Brown averaged 50% more yards per game than Metcalf despite being new to the system while Metcalf had been in the system for three years.

Injuries explain exactly that lol. Yards per game when you barely have a full season to go off. Quarterback could easily form a better bond with the guy who has been there more consistently. I’m not gonna say I’m not concerned about his injuries.

I am more afraid of his injuries than I am his production. Because looking at the snaps he has on film I don’t see a workout warrior because people were saying he was the best we before the combine. The guy is just special if he can stay healthy.

Seriously, look at this guy's game log. He made a living out of putting up stats against trash defenses. Against better teams he usually disappeared.

If you look at the big games looks like he’s getting into the inzone against FSU bama auburn and cal. I dunno what u want.

Yards per games played. The guy catches fly routes and gadget screens. That's it. You're gonna have to try to turn him into an actual WR.

But y'all smitten with these workouts and those abs. LOL!

That is my point. Brown produced, Metcalf didnt. But this is now I'm biased as a MSU guy. No, I just know the stats dont lie. He isnt productive and the stats say so.

What the hell

16k+ yards and 116 TDs. Career 60%+ catch rate. 9 1000+ yard seasons. 4 1400+ yard seasons. 5 100+ catch seasons.

The biggest argument for T.O. is he was better at getting in the endzone with 153 TDs and that's a very legit argument. Fitz has been the more consistent WR though.

Fitz is behind Randy also, tbh Julio and ab May surpass him given the rule changes ect, no doubt a great WR bur I think his legacy is cemented barring a huge turn around by the cards and him playing a significant role in them making the super bowl again
