notice how we can’t discuss draft oversights with our current puppet GM but the same ppl did that poo nonstop about the guy that preceded him

the huddle has their head up their ass all fuging day when it comes to GMs. marty hurney is not a good one. and as far as i’m concerned, if you’re not on here calling for this guy to be removed from his spot bc he never should have been brought back here in the first place, you’re basically sucking his nuts in my book.

even though we don't see eye to eye on this particular matter it does in fact need to be discussed.

i mean you cant just expect to sweep everything under the rug & act like the dirt is not there.that is if you care anything whatsoever about this team cleaning up their act.

... its called compassion not trolling as some would foolishly lead you to believe

i just wanna know when the attitude changed from “let’s nitpick everything the GM did and how it affects every facet of the team in every negative way we can possibly think of” to “it’s all good bro, everybody makes mistakes, clean slate you got dis man #fistbumpsformarty”

neither was cordy glenn apparently

and we’re still trying to make it work with amini seven years later

Now that's an honest intellectual point!

All GMs do miss and miss badly. It's just the nature of the game. It's the continuous misses and whiffs that get on my nerves (among other things).

the debate or as you are saying argument (which is the same) is not about who's feelings are hurt. but, rather who is at fault for the teams current state of affairs.

you do realize & yes just one whole year later that David Gettlemanis fingerprints are still all over this teams DNA?

But that’s not what you’re debating. You’re debating Marty vs Gettleman which is absolutely irrelevant. That said, I’m done discussing this with you because as I’ve already pointed out, it’s pointless. If you want to discuss the state of our team because of Gmans decision, that’s one thing. Discussing Marty vs Gettleman is irrelevant. Enjoy your day lol

gettleman accomplished more in 5 years with said horrendous drafts than hurney did in the 12 or so years he has been here between two stints, or you ever will with your cockeyed hot takes but whatevs

Yeah a trip to the super bowl that was all because of how Cam was on fire that year. Gettleman did so much with his dollar general shopping during FA, and all the guys he let go that made our team. Thanks DG!

It' really funny to watch the same people say we were both good and bad depending on whether they want to praise Gettlemen or trash Rivera.

Houston is a player that would be a great addition if we are truly going to a 3-4 from a football perspective. The economics of it are the issue.
