he fumbled on his first touch of his career, then didnt get a chance again that entire season. a terrible place to play, had some decent plays this last year tho.

And I am not even saying he is 100% a bust yet(although it doesn't look good). He did have 7 TD catches on just 21 receptions. However, it would make little sense to trade for a guy that has shown so little in his injury plagued career. Especially when you consider what he is getting paid. 

I also don't think the Bengals were/are shopping him that hard, if they are at all.

Ross hasn’t gotten the opportunities with the bengals, even with green injured dalton proceeded to stink up the place, not to mention a oc switch mid season.  Needs some coaching and opportunities

  I’d give a 5th for a former top 10 pick with a 2M cap hit(non-guaranteed) and another year at 2.7M if he somehow would bounce back. Also non-guaranteed. 

People really need to learn about the salary cap if they are going to reference it.

I wouldn't exactly say that he hasn't gotten opportunities. Things just haven't worked out between injuries and Boyd basically stealing his thunder by outplaying him, Ross hasn't gotten traction. Sure, some of that may have been not coaching or calling plays to his strengths, but at the end of the day, bona fide playmakers make plays when their number is called (kind of like Curtis Samuel). Ross simply needs to do better! Perhaps he can. I wouldn't invest anything significant trying to find out though. What is commensurate with a cheap flyer?

he plays some part in this as well but when a coaching staff is trying to switch you to cb after one year that tells me all i need to know
