After watching the gauntlet of these TE’s it reminds me of how good Ian Thomas was last year in this drill.  So smooth.  Only Irv Smith and Noah Fant look as good as he did.  Man we got a steal. I will have to find a vid of Ian’s gauntlet.

Yep, after the Combine I thought it was pretty clear that Ian Thomas had a chance to be the best TE out of the class. You just can't teach natural ability. Just like you can't make a 4.7 guy blazing fast, you can't make a guy a natural route runner and/or catcher of the ball. You either have it or you don't.

Tyree Jackson is a really intriguing developmental prospect. Honestly, he probably won't pan out, but if he does...

It'll just be interesting to see where NFL teams place his value. I can't see us going with a QB before the 4th at the earliest unless we're putting up one hell of a smokescreen about Cam's shoulder.

4.8+ is disappointing for Jones. I thought he was going to to run better than that.

I don't get the hype on this kid. His accuracy is marginal. I've screamed on here until I'm blue in the face about sub-60% college passers and how they almost never translate to the NFL. Jones barely made it over that mark this season and is actually under the mark on his college career. Most guys who struggle with accuracy have cannon arms. Jones doesn't. He has a below average arm for an NFL QB. How does a guy with a subpar arm and subpar accuracy succeed in the NFL? Especially when he also depends on his running ability and then runs 4.8+.

Anyone who drafts this guy in the 1st round is a fool. All indications are that he simply doesn't have the talent to translate to the NFL.
