He's not pushing for another contract, not even Marty is that stupid, and that's saying something.

He's just not fully committed to football any longer.  We gave an extension to a player who was under contract, over 30, coming off a foot injury, and who had expressed thoughts of retirement even back then.

Just a dumbass move, and anyone with a brain could see it a mile away.
