If he wants to come, let him come

But its got to be the right price

He needs a prove it deal like Vick had in Philly, as he has been out of football the same amount of time.  And prior had injuries and struggled prior to this break

Some here still don't get it. He wants to be a starter not a back-up and there is no way he will start especially with Panthers.

Chances are Kap wants starter money and teams like Carolina are looking to pay backup wages.

Even if the Panthers were willing to pay starter money to Kap, it wouldn't be wise for a team with so many needs to fill.

Pretty much the same situation the Seahawks faced when they had Kap in for look in 2017.

Devil's advocate here but if Cam isn't 100% by TC Kap would have enough weapons to win games. With that said unless he gives us a discount he can make more money elsewhere(and that's what he's going for).

I'd have no problem with Kap being a Panther if he wants to play a year as backup/for backup money.  It would give him the opportunity to showcase his skills (get his foot in the door) after several years of being out of the league.

If Kap expects starter level money or an extended contract, he'd be better off looking elsewhere IMHO.

Panthers will be going through a lot of major changes these next couple of seasons and can't afford to tie up huge chunks of cap space for two franchise QBs.

I like Allen.. Kap will start to cry and frankly he was not that good!! He got benched.. he was injured Alex Smith game a long.. he became second string and started kneeling... I say we stick with Allen.. cuz he will whine as a backup..dont need the drama.. if we want drama then get Antonio Brown

And that's the facts. Other teams with bigger QB issues could give him more money and playing time.
