Seems like this is one big expensive pitch to get the NFL to buy up the league.  A true development league, post-college, would let GMs and coaches find proven talent, avoiding some big contract busts. Probably a decent ROI for NFL owners.

So we have Skyhawks and Rowdies. Any other name suggestions? AAF team names represent an area's history so, in that tradition, what suggestions do you have? No politics!!

Any team in the triangle better include Durham as well. The RDU area is so desperate for pro-sports. Nobody can get tickets for Duke or UNC Basket ball games, because their freaking alums have the inside track. Wolfpack sucks balls. And MLS denied us a franchise.

Did someone say they couldn't make payroll? 2 weeks into the season, they can't pay their bills?

We got the Durham Bulls here in Raleigh/Durham. We could use some football in the spring ...
