Yea Steve was great with all his playoff wins, and championship runs...Beurlein was good talent wise, and better than Jake in that regard. But he led nothing but mediocre teams, too mediocre seasons. Collins was a better QB for the Panthers and more succesful than Beurlein.

Cant fault the Qb for the team makeup. Beurlein was better than Jake, Jake just had the talent to support him.

Yep. Franchise is way to young to realize how he really...wasn't that great. Unless we never get a nice QB in the next 40 years and always stick with average Qbs. He was not horrible by any means, he had his above average seasons. I really do believe that is he had not always had shoulder problems and ultimately had to do this surgery along with the mental breakdown, he would be an awesome qb vet.

The question still stands, what did Beurelein do while he was here? What did he do that Jake at some point didn't do better? (half trying to rip on you, half out of genuine curiosity. I only started paying attention to football in general in 2002)

And p.s. I think you can take "F*CK The Defense!" out of your sig by now. If you honestly think they are a part of the problem at this point, then I don't know what I can do for you.

Beuerlein owns Jake in just about all major QB categories as far as stats are concerned. He also didn't make stupid throws and make dumb decisions like Jake did. Plus he was working with less than what Jake has had. To think Jake was better is incorrect.

I'll remove the defense part of my sig if they play the same way against Arizona who is a tougher opponent.

Steve Beurlein did..well...Yea he did nothing, zero, nada. Not a playoff appearance. Not a winning season. Not anything to be proud of, not anything to remember. Beurlein will go into history of the Panthers slightly remembered more than Chris Weinke..

Beurlein had a great supporting cast around him on offense, maybe even better than what Delhomme ever had. The problem with the Panthers back then was the defense.

Beurlein and Delhomme are both great parts of this franshise's history. They were two different QB's but both were great, at one point, at what they did for this team. The same thing goes for DeShaun Foster. To me Foster's plays in the 2003 playoffs are the biggest highlights but most people on here only seem to remember him for the 07 season.
