So we bring Kaep in(which I honestly don’t see happening=$). And it has nothing to do with people wearing “red hats”, who seem to have to watch their backs because some people don’t believe you should be allowed to express your feelings unless they agree with them.

A lot of misinformation about Kap being tossed out around this place. Kap has never been in a stabile situation. Even the Harbaugh era (if you can even call it that, as it was so short) was a circus. People are throwing out Harbaugh making Kap reach higher heights like it's a bad thing. The fact that he had a modicum of success should show you that there is some talent to work with. He showed promise before being injured and blackballed as well. It's just a shame people want to create a narrative about Kap, and in the same breath assail others for doing the same about Cam, who hasn't been in the best of situations, but markedly better than Kaepernick's.

That's all I really have to say on the matter.

red hats, aka trump supporters, are generally not fans of CK for his stance on kneeling during the anthem. the real question is why would you make the connection between red hats and racists. telling on yourself.

Small minded reply.  As the recent events of the teenagers in red hats in Washington DC showed us, what you see on the news isn't always factual.

If he was willing to come in on a cheap back up qb salary? Sure.

But I strongly feel he values himself higher than a cheap back up qb.  If he can get that, more power to him.  I am just not sure if anyone will value a QB who had up and down times combined with not seeing a game in a few years now.

The above is the type of stuff that worries me about Kaep.  I always felt like he was the embodiment of the narrative that got said about Cam a lot of the time when it came to his ability to quarterback. 

Also noted earlier in the thread, I do feel like "Kaep should start over Cam" would be a hot take talking point and annoying as hell.  Let him sign with the Pats where there's no expectation of him being the starter...ever, and then let him ball out in the preseason or something forcing someone's hand to trade for him.

It seems like Kaep wants starting QB caliber money. I guess he would be fine as a cheap backup, but I wouldn't go more than 3-4 million with all of the other weaknesses this team has.
