What will our president think about our team, if we sign Kaep? think about it for a minute.

Who cares what the president thinks about a football team or football in general. he's gonna be busy enough with all the yelling and screaming he'll do on Twitter once his emergency is locked up in court for the next 2 years.

please please please get this done.  i want to lick all the salty tears from 'i'm pretending its not about racism' crowd.  and kap was hated because he broke hearts on 3rd down.  that's why i hated him anyway.  just like how people hate cam for doing that to them.

AAF offered him 20mil and he turned that down.

I think you have that backwards. That's what he asked for. I'm not sure if he called them and offered to play for that or they called and asked him to play and that's what he told them it would take. He should be willing to step on the field and demonstrate he has the ability (if he does) especially after his 3 year sabbatical. He should be able to stand out against that level of talent, mostly practice squad and preseason cuts, shouldn't he?

Yeah he was offered 250k(starting pay) which applies to any position in AAF.

Yeah, that's what I read, I'm just not clear on who called who. Then the 20 million number was tossed out. I would think he could stand out in that league if he truly has top half of the NFL talent. He should showcase that in his quest to get an NFL gig, not just point at what he did 4-6 years ago.

I've got a feeling that price tag was due to two factors that would no longer apply:

1) He was asking for more from the AAF because his goal is to be in the NFL.  He wouldn't have asked for 20M from an NFL team.

2) His collusion case against the NFL was still pending.  It's now settled.  Money is even less of a factor.

He opted out of a $14M deal with the Niners, I’m positive he has been looking for more than that since then and that’s a large reason why he wasn’t signed.

I have my doubts about his playing shape and being rusty for sure. I don't think we want the circus that will surround him with his every move he makes and every word he says being analyzed to death. I wish he would sign with a AAF team to get that out of the way show he can still play and then sign with a NFL team. If it's us fine but prove you belong as a player and someone that wants to play the game.
