what do we need to do to have a home playoff game?

ok i know we would have secured homefield advantage through out if we won last night, but i am wondering what exactly needs to happen for us to have atleast 1 home game in the playoffs. i have preordered the playoff tickets and im trying to figure out if i am going to need them and what would be the probable date if i did. anyone want to take a break from the rantings and discuss this. sorry if it is in one of the million other new threads, i just dont want to read all of them as i dont need the negativity. anyhow thanks for anyone who knows this.

You're confusing homefield advantage throughout with a home playoff game.

If we win this week, we'll get a home playoff game and a bye against an unknown opponent. If we win that game and the Giants win their game, we'll play in the Meadowlands for the NFC CG. If we win that game and the Giants lose their game, then the NFC CG will be in Charlotte.

If we lose this week and Atlanta wins, we won't get any home playoff games unless we somehow manage to play the other wildcard team in the NFC CG. Our first game will be at Arizona.

Simple:

We beat NO, we get #2 seed

We lose to NO and Atlanta loses to St. Louis, we get #2 seed

We lose to NO and Atlanta wins, we get #5 seed

The #2 seed gets a first round bye and hosts the highest seeded team that survives the opening rounds.

The #5 seed goes on the road for the entire playoffs unless it happens to meet the #6 seed in the NFC championship game (which has never happened) then it will be a home game.

    • Kraven has awful shitty comic book movie vibes all over it. It's just more of whatever studio owns the rights to the Spiderman set, but no longer actually has Spiderman anymore. Wicked is probably no more enjoyable. 3 hour long musicals are tough to endure.

    • The Giants games are an interesting comparison for sure. We could compare the Chiefs vs the Bucs as well, since at least both teams are largely the same as they are now, rather than the Giants whose coach lost his mind after losing to us. 30-24 KC in overtime. Hunt had 106 yards and Mahomes had 291. Baker threw for 200 yards, but 2 TDs. Their leading rusher had 25 yards or something. Our offense outperformed what the Bucs did vs KC, but being a division game we won't have the benefit of being overlooked. If our D plays how it did in the 4th quarter I think we can get some stops.  Can Bryce carry a second game? I'd rather not find out and have Chuba carry the load, but we'll see.
