No Worse than Jake?

He has cost us at least two games, and could have cost us the Tampa Bay game. It is time for a change. It would be good for him and the team. It would at least let everyone know what Feeley/Moore could do. At 2-4, what is there to lose?

Dudes, just look at how many points Jake has scored for the other team. At this point any QB is better. Jake gives us the best chance? Give me a fuging break, he has proved every game this season he does not. I officially join the bandwagon.

As pitiful as we are playing it is worth a try to let someone else lead the team at QB. Jake has lost it. It's been gone. Probably won't get it back. If Moore or Feely can't cut it then shame on Fox for not having a decent back up.

I'd much rather lose with a guy who is going to LEARN from his mistakes, than lose with a guy who is a tenured vet who not only keeps MAKING the same mistakes, but who can't even throw a long ball anymore

Here's the thing. There's NO upside to Jake. We know what we have with him. I literally cringe every time he goes back to pass. We don't know what we have with the other QB's so lets find out. If they suck, they suck... but as someone already pointed out... we already have the leagues Worst QB in Jake...

Jake is so bad, I was shocked when he actually threw a decent 25 yard pass. Very sad.

Jake was a better QB when everyone wanted Weinke. That was pretty stupid and it was proven so.

Do what? If Jake was playing well, fans wouldn't be wanting Weinke in there. The deal with Jake is, when he is playing well, he is as good as any QB, when he's playing bad, he looks like a rookie in his first start.

It's a no lose situation you put Moore in and find out what you have. He sucks you know that he is not a viable option and move on. He does well and you might have your QB of the future. It's a win win situation.

Reading this threads gets me angry and frustrated, again, at the total complete failure of Fox/Hurney to get and have a viable QB of the future on this team. They have tried - but obviously failed miserably.

I do not think Moore is the answer.... I am also officially off the Jake supporter bandwagon. Yesterday did it for me. He overthrew and missed two wide open receivers down the middle on those two easy picks. I hold my breath everytime he drops back to pass. He is done, and again I AM PISSED because there is no QB on this roster.

Sadly this season is lost. Fine, sure go ahead and play Moore but he will not be the starting QB next season. That person is not on the roster yet.

Doesn't matter if he's worse, we're out of the race already. If Moore plays and sucks then we know we need two new quarterbacks. If Moore plays well, we only need one.

i would have felt better with mccown. he shouldn't have been IR'ed. h at least would have been worth a shot. same with moore now.he deserves a shot. what's the worst that can happen? we lose? sorry, already happening.

it's time to move on. get rid of davidson and crossman while you're at it. if fox wants to keep his job he needs to make serious corrections there.
