I doubt he will be the pick.  He is an Tackle from Washington State.  

He is probably a later Round 1 early 2 pick

I saw this.  I couldn't believe how bad the picks were for us.

I typed up a thread to start for it, before realizing I must have been dreaming.  There is no way someone would mock us a draft this..stupid.  And deleted it before submitting.

Struggled all week minus foot drills.

Got pushed right into the QB on the first play of the game.  They used the LSU TE after that to help on most plays.

The 2nd half they went back to giving him no help.  He had a few good plays against their #3s then got wrecked again forcing them to bring more help to his side

I watched Andre Dillard in WSC's bowl game and he looked pretty bad.

The only pick I liked was Taylor Rapp, he'll be a solid college player.

No one can truly bash a mock draft yet.

Dilliard might be incredible or a bust— the safety and CB we take might be the same—

just don’t know.

i notice a lot of people just look at it, poke holes and then refuse to offer why or say who they would draft in that scenario instead

in the 1st round I think I would prefer Marquise Brown or Greedy Williams if this were the draft that was happening and those were the choices— we need a TY Hilton type and Brown is that— and we need an upgrade at CB— Greedy is that.

Andre looks weak to me,.. moves around but gets pummeled when they come at him— he’s a 2nd round pick,.. shouldn’t be a first rounder.

I like the Rapp pick, just not in round 2. Hoping we could get him in the 3rd,  but he's the best free safety in the draft. It'd be great to pair him with Reid for the next 3-4 years.

With the glaring needs on both offensive and defensive lines, and secondary this year. I think we should really consider trading down in the first round to get us more picks. We should try to trade from 16th down to 20-25 range. That's more picks and good chances at getter more good players in this draft this year. Depending who is on the board or our board when they get to us a 16th.

There’s a reason I want to re-sign Williams. It wouldn’t surprise me if 75% of all these tackles getting mocked in the first are busts. 

Most of these BR guys are fans of other teams.  They select the players they want and create a "Mock Draft" around them.  Justifying each pick to make his mock draft more credible. 

While it is fun to read these mock drafts it is far too early to make a choice.   The last player I can remember us talking about this early and we actually picked him was.....(cough, cough, gag, gag) Kelvin Benjamin.

Tyree Jackson would be a terrible pick, in any round. He is a practice squad guy.

Rapp won't be there in the 3rd so getting him in the 2nd is a must if still there.  

Why why why would an All-Pro at the right tackle not be resigned?  then the tackle position is no longer a need with Moton going to the left side where he was more than adequate!

But Mock Drafts are ALL, STOOPID STEWPID STUUWPID!!!!!!!!

I totally disagree.. He has all the physical tool to be good and if you got him in the 6th round or later. He could work out great for us.. Especially  with a QB "whisper" like Norv Turner... I think having Norv makes developing a young QB more of a option..

 

The 1st pass was off balance and went 60 yards easily.. poo I might think using a 5th or 4th round pick on him isn't crazy.. Horrible footwork (coach able) but that ARM and size is god giving.. Give Norv 3 years with him..
