Tepper wants a roof on BOA.

It’s the bigger picture.

Tepper wants the stadium to be used year round which helps bring more business in the end.

Tepper wants to keep the stadium uptown and if there isn’t land this is the best option.

Maybe Charlotte Pipe will sell their land one day and it could be a whole new stadium but you can’t bank on that.

but I’m torn because I love the outdoor element of the game. When dome teams come to Charlotte it’s usually helped the Panthers greatly.

Well here we go again....rich billionaire wants public funding to help put a roof on and then claims it will increase revenue to the city over the long run and offset those costs and net additional revenue through year around events and gasp!............maybe even a super bowl?

I'd say the Charlotte should study every situation like this from other sports venues and see if that actually worked or not before it would be even allowed to come up to vote.

As it is........Panthers stadium is in the worse location to have a one.........horrible to try to park and get around. Sucks going to a game there most other city locations have parking or are far enough out to have land for parking........

Tepper most likely has a plan in the works and whatever he does can increase revenue and even bring in a SB location for the future. Let Tepper do his planning on what he wants to try and accomplish. None of us  have any clue of what will happen or will not happen.

the continued obsession with the frivolous spectacle and lack of any similar charge on the football side is becoming increasingly frustrating.

People don't want a soft football team that is afraid of the rain. What they want is accountability for coaches who preside over historic collapses.

This is petty and unwanted.

Just because you have a roof on a football stadium doesn’t mean it has to be used for football. He has other reasons for wanting to add one.
