No doubt that's why the guy got tore up, but with his life on the line a 80lb cat is much more manageable then if it was 200Lbs,  at that weight this probably would have went differently.

A 200 point mountain lion would be very uncommon. Anything over 150 is big. 120-140 or so is about average.
