Here's the thing. Everyone is looking for a magic formula. It's not that simple. You have to win a majority of your games to get a bye. That means playing well when it's hot and easy to throw the ball and put up big points. You've also got to be good when it's cold. That means you have to run the ball, control the clock, play good defense. Your team, especially the coaches, have to be able to adjust and adapt week to week. That, my friends, is what the Patriots do better than any one else. You can't say this is what we do and we're doing it no matter what. You adapt to stop what your opponents do well and you adapt to become what your opponent struggles against.

If we had a top 10 maybe even 15 defense We would have made it to the playoffs even with Cam's bum shoulder. If Cam stayed healthy we would have had a decent chance at the NFC. We lost like what, 5 or 6 games by 6 points or less? That falls on our terrible defense / coaching.

To be fair Rivera and Cam are 2-0 vs the Patriots with the Panthers.

What does the head to head matchup have to do with Rivera incompetence? Being able to beat the Pats has nothing to do with why this team doesnt have championship yet.

he can he schooled sean peyton on mnf and shut down the saints offense such a shame Cam could not throw due to his hurt shoulder.

Sean Payton is a prick but he coaches circles around Rivera and its not close at this point, that one game make up for getting beat 3 times in one year with a better team? Whats our record against them since the superbowl year? Stop it.

This sport insults my intelligence sometimes..................wanted the Pats to win so no problem there.

but would have like to have see the Rams make it interesting towards the end.........what in the world is wrong with coaches or QBs that call a dump into the end zone on two plays in a row from around the 30 yard line with 4 mins left in the game trying to tie the score?

Good grief......even without time outs you have plenty of time to work the chains.....realistically move closer to the goal and score with little time to give the ball back to the Pats.

Nope you dump two low percentage forced passes to score and get one of them intercepted.....instead of trying to get a 1st down......retards.........
