thats what i keep saying in this thread and Romo has mentioned it repeatedly. The Patriots are playing really tight man coverage and getting consistent early pressure in Goffs face.

This game is not two outstanding defenses shutting the other team down. It's failure by the Rams offense and Brady being incapable of hitting a receiver that isn't wide open.

Every time the Rams have run a drag route (a tight man coverage killer) it's been open. Goff just hasn't seen it. He hasn't done anything to force the Pats to change anything up. He isn't taking what they're giving him and he's seeing ghosts.

exactly. Remember how much of a high flying offense we were from that season and we struggled to do much in the Super Bowl and our oline got eaten alive, much like the Rams are currently doing.

Brady has shown his age tonight. He's pretty much incapable of thowing more than 10 yards down the field, the Rams just can't cover Julian Edelman. That's been the difference in this game.
