Antonio Brown trade?

I think we have too many other needs to offer what it would take.

I think he is a great player, don't get me wrong, I'm just not convinced it is the best use of our resources right now.  We have 2 younger recievers that seem to be trending up in Moore and Samuel.  I'm not saying either as are good or even will be as good ever but the production you would get out of AB would be offset somewhat by what you might lose in those two.  

Also people need to remember football transactions never happen in a vacuum.  Whenever you gain something you also lose the potential to add something different.

Lets say it cost a 1st and $16m a year for him.  You can have:

AB + less targets for Moore and Samuel

or 

More targets for Moore and Samuel + a $15m FA DE + and a 1st round DT + a cheap vet 3rd receiver ($1m)

I know which one I think translates into more wins

For a 1st round pick I would rather trade someone for a real Left Tackle or DE....

antonio is a badass but what impact would he have if Cam can’t get the ball out to him? 

What does it matter if we give up 40 points a game?

we gotta get the O line and DE positions shored up. too many holes to fill. If this was the 2016 off-season Id say pull the trigger. Its time to rebuild, not win now.

AB cant play LT or rush the passer so it would be incredibly dumb of us to trade a 1st rd pick for him.

I rather trade a first for a DE pass rusher that's not in his 30s. AB is great, but we have enough wr that are decent.

Not even sure Ron will be here longterm. He would have no choice but to make it work. You forgot this is make or break season?

The worst thing that can happen to a team is have a franchise QB AND a franchise WR. There's only enough air for one of them. 

I like Cam way too much, and his potential, to ever want someone like AB here.

Let's rebuild our DL and OL instead. That's money well spent.

The Steelers will probably want a 1st & a 3rd round pick if not a 1st & a 2nd round pick. No doubt this would liven things up but then, what about the o-line?
