Carolinas pulling for the Pats?

I like Tom Brady.  I think he’s the GOAT, and he seems like a genuinely good dude.  I hate everything else about the Patriots, their coaching staff, and their ownership.

I am torn though because I feel like I owe the Rams so much for putting down the Saints...

Basically, a Super Bowl without the Panthers in it doesn’t excite me that much.

Brady is a whiny spoiled brat who's had everything go his way since he took over the starting job and he dumped his pregnant girlfriend. "Genuinely good guy" my ass. And Belichick is the reason for his success. Without Belichick Brady would be lucky to have one ring. He's top 10 of his generation sure but nowhere near GOAT

    • Here’s another that we fans should keep in mind: Sometimes greatness takes time. Mahomes had the benefit of sitting a season behind Alex Smith after the Chiefs traded up to take him with the 10th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Young, last year’s top pick, started 16 games as a rookie, going 2-14, absorbing 62 sacks and posting the league’s worst passer rating.
    • https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5945028/2024/11/24/panthers-loss-bryce-young-chiefs/?source=user_shared_article This quote from the article in The Athletic caught my attention: The quarterback on the other sideline was equally impressed. “I thought he played his tail off, man. He throws a really good ball,” Patrick Mahomes said. “I think Texas Tech was the first one to offer him when he was in eighth grade. I was at Texas Tech, so I remember watching his highlight tapes then and knew he was going to be a great player.”
    • We could easily pick apart yesterday’s game: dropped passes, blown coverages, bad tackling and red zone issues to name a few. But it was clear that this wasn’t the same team from earlier in the season. They fought back and hung with the champs until the end. That’s what I was excited to see and it gives me hope that we’re on the right track.
