Thomas Davis was a great panther but him and his wife are drama. This isn’t Steve smith, Julius peppers, cam newton, or Luke kuechly here. This isn’t a hall of fame player. Dang, pretty much sums it up. IF he cared about his Panthers legacy more and retired he would always have a place within the organization. He's squandering that good will.

I have no problem with him playing next year and I could care less about him playing for a team in the division. I just want him to stop talking, because he lies and he is drama. I just roll my eyes when he speaks because you know it’s all BS.

People can change their minds. Especially when they’re faced with the reality that the game they love the most is over. The “lies” you’re talking about aren’t that big of a deal.  Y’all really need to chill it’s just a game.

oh good god.  plenty of people have bashed smith.  no one has forgot his inability to not punch teammates.  we bash everyone who leaves or gets fired.    but really stretching things to bash td seems silly.   oh, and guess what,   people put microphones in his face and he gets to say whatever he wants.    he's been a class act and is obviously a very popular guy in the locker room. i wish he'd never put on another jersey, but he can still play.

thats not lying, it’s changing your mind. Lying would be like saying I swear I’ve never ran a red light before,.. 

the guy wants to keep playing as long as he can,.. and why shouldn’t he if he wants to?

havent you changed your mind and decided to do or not do something going forward that previously  you said differently?

i don’t know why everyone has to get butt hurt if a player wants to keep playing after a team parts ways.
