Trouble in Cowboys land?

There is always trouble in Cowboys land.  They went from being a model franchise (whether you liked them or not) to being a soap opera under Jerry Jones.

Cowboys fans chime in, too.  Two years ago, Dak Prescott was some hybrid of the DNA of Tom Brady, Cam Newton, and Dan Marino.  Then last year many of them wanted the Cowboys to bring somebody in to replace him (the idea of the "sophomore slum" never seemed to occur to them).  I have not had the stomach to check in and see what they are saying this year.  And last year, Romo went from a guy who was fun to watch but did the worst things at the worst times in big games to being a hybrid of the DNA of Tom Brady, Dan Marino, and Brett Favre.  They make the back and forth we have regarding Cam look like minor league stuff.

As for Garrett, his job is secure.  You see, nobody can say "yes sir, Mr. Jones, sir.  You sure are a football genius, sir.  I hope that one day I can be half as smart as you are, sir" as quickly as anybody.  And for those that are as quick, they add "how much sugar did you want, sir?" whereas Garrett already knows how Jones likes his coffee.
