Actually I do know, SI is spot on here.

You know I have never heard of the Cam Newton Brand, nor have I ever seen it in a store.

Could you point me to where it is sold?

I'd like to see where one might buy an "outfit" like Cam "wears to his pressers" and how much it would cost to replicate said outfit.   Specifically, where can one buy the "outfit" in the linked pic....the one with the fox tail....I bet that bad boy is a big seller for the Cam Newton Brand.

That said, even if he does have a clothing line there is no possible way you could know if it is successful or not because you haven't seen the financial statements.

PS...no way Cam's endorsements remotely approach his on field income, fake news.

From a Forbes article:

Quarterback Cam Newton was the face the NFL during his 2015 MVP season when he led the Carolina Panthers to a 15-1 record and a Super Bowl appearance. His endorsement profile skyrocketed with his off-field earnings topping $10 million annually.

Here, Forbes Lists Cam as one of the richest athletes in the world, with onfield earnings of 13 mil and 13 mil in endorsements .

https://www.forbes.com/profile/cam-newton/#2e932bac51bb

So yeah, Cam makes as much in endorsements as he does on the field.

And, here's a scientific study, as in you see the numbers they use and the way they calculated it, that says that 15% of NFL player declare bankruptcy and that only 1.9% of NFL player declare bankruptcy in the first two years.

"...The result of our comprehensive research on bankruptcy risk among NFL players is quite different from a widely-cited Sports Illustrated article, which reported that 78 percent of former NFL players are bankrupt or under “financial stress” within two years of retirement (Torre, 2009). After 2 years of retirement, only about 1.9 percent of players in our sample have filed for bankruptcy..."

15% is way too many, way lower than 78%.

As far as the SI article goes, you have no idea how many players they looked at, how they defined financial stress, or how they calculated the numbers. If they included players from the 50's-70s for example, those players didn't make jack. Many of the player in the 50s had second jobs during the off season.

Never heard of Cam doing the stupid athlete thing of spending hundreds of thousands for one night at a bar or strip club. He doesn't have children with several different women, doesn't seem to do any of the crazy things that bleed money off the star athletes. He may have a well camouflaged  secret life where he blows millions on sex and drugs, but I doubt it. He seems like a good man with his head on straight.

Here's an article showing how Peyton Manning makes as much in endorsements as he did playing the game. Article is from a couple of years  ago, but Peyton is still making tons of ads and presumably, tons of money. Cam can do exactly the same thing. No reason he can't make 10-15 mil a year in endorsements for years after he retires.

https://broncoswire.usatoday.com/2016/09/17/peyton-manning-net-worth-making-as-much-from-endorsements-as-nfl/

Doubt Cam, or his children ,grandchildren ,great grandchildren, and so on, will have money problems. He has generational wealth now, and can easily make another 100 mil in the next five years.

You can laugh at the Belk line if you want, it shows Cam has an interest in fashion and has gained valuable experience in building a fashion line. He'll certainly have the money to that if he wants to.

He doesn't even have to spend his own money, if he tells investors that he want to launch a fashion line, he'll have all the money he needs without spending a dime of his own money.

Cam is a businessman. Look at his IG, he doesn't post pics of material things. You don't see him rocking half million dollar chains or watches. He stacking his paper and making business moves. Crazy he opened this lounge while he is still playing in the NFL. Most athletes would do this after they retire. Cam already ahead of the game.

Any response to my post besides a stupid joke?

You said Cam's clothing brand gets "free advertising" from the "outfits he wears to his pressers"....

....I want to know where one goes to buy said outfit (in particular the bad boy fox-tail thingy)?

PS....he no longer has a clothing line with Belk, ended 2 years ago.
