CJ Anderson says Panthers didn’t do anything wrong

CMC is awesome but i still think it's a reflection of the coaching staff that they couldn't figure out how to use a guy like CJ to make a positive impact on the offense. running CMC into the ground just seems spectacularly short-sighted.

This right here. It’s like when Ron said about having too many weapons on the field at the same when referencing DJ and Samuel.  This coaching staff isn’t creative enough to use multiple weapons

Ron openly admitted they would struggle trying to figure out who gets the ball if Moore and Samuel were on the field together...

So I’m believing they couldn’t wrap their heads around the idea of having CMC and CJ together.

This plus releasing Anderson midseason and then lamenting at year's end that they needed to find a way to lessen McCaffrey's workload...

Ron really comes off like a dunce sometimes.

FIFY but it also proves that he ran Cam into the ground and is going to do the same to CMC as we've seen by his moronic ass leaving both in the game(s) in which we've either won handily or gotten trounced. By extension Tepper is signing off on this by keeping the dynamic duo of failure together so he is too atm.

Still have an empty suit at DC rofl...this poo is hilarious.

It' not their job to figure out who would get the ball it' Cams. I believe this is why we see Cam so many times never look at a wr who is actually wide open and throws it somewhere else  like he has predetermined where the ball is going.   Coaching staff is much to be desired.

Honestly Rivera and the Panthers have stunted Cam as an NFL quarterback. I still can't understand why you would draft a QB #1 overall and then treat him like a journeyman game-manager with regards to improving o-line and offensive weapons. If Rivera and the Panthers were gonna hang their hat on defense and apply band aids to the offense, they should have drafted Von Miller or Patrick Peterson. I just can't for the life of me wrap my head around that concept or train of thought. You had the QB to lead you into a dynasty but you handcuff him with mediocre, often times sub-NFL level players, so the defense could lead you to the promised land. Horrible evaluators of resources and the opportunities they present. The John Fox era was never as devoid of offensive talent as the Rivera era, and they had some pretty spectacular defenses talent-wise.

Back to the topic at hand - poorly mismanaged a valuable offensive weapon on a steal of a 1-year contract. Lack of offensive ingenuity and competence has held this team back for years.

It doesn't matter what players we have on the team if our coaching staff can't maximize their strengths. Oh and it needs to be maximized in more than one player. I'm afraid of what our offense will look like if CMC gets injured...

I mean how many NFL coaches would release a player because he is too talented and they can't figure out how to use him? That right there would lead to a serious closed office, one way conversation. So, you're telling me you have no real clue how to manage or lead the offensive side of the team. So, you manage this office but you have no idea what half of the office does and have no idea how to manage them?

You have one of the best widget makers in the industry for below average wages, but you fired him because you had another really good widget maker and you didn't know how to include him. He goes to one of our competitors (who coincedentally had the best widget maker in the world) and helps lead them to the top of the widget making industy.

After which you said it was a shame we didn't have a backup widget maker.

Plus at the time, he rationalized it by saying he'd have a better opportunity to make widgets somewhere else. This despite the fact it's not really on us to help people find better jobs elsewhere.

This stuff makes us look like absolute morons.

CJ was a little overweight, still proved he can ball. Never understood the difficulty of putting CMC on the sideline for 8-12 snaps and letting CJ play. In 2017 he was the BEST pass protecting RB in the NFL!! While the OL was dealing with injuries and finding its identity, CJ would have been great insurance.  I mean no offense to CMC, but he's currently poor at pass protecting especially compared to CJ. Even play CMC in slot and CJ at RB, offense genius Norv wanted nothing to do with CJ.
