A win could have hurt us as well, Jets beat Tennesee and then it was all downhill, you do not give your plays a sense of accomplishment before they lift the Lombardi, i'm not saying you don't try to win, but you make them work for it, make them feel like they've still got to work for it. This game was close, REALLY close, but if we had won, we don't wanna walk into a game that matters more thinking we'll just stroll in and beat them again. It hasn't happened last year, it definitely hasn't happened this year. Next game is the saints, this is a must win for the bye week.
