I have to imagine it costs the NFL a great deal of money, I wonder if it is a money loser for them?  My guess is, if ratings or NFL popularity drop, it would eventually become obsolete or scaled down.

An actual legit dodgeball and kickball game would be so much more entertaining than fake football.

 

Hell, even a softball game would be better.

It has just slightly less serious football than a week 17 game between the Bills and Jets: two guys trying to impress, 14 guys looking to showboat just a bit and a bunch of other guys delivering powderpuff hits and planning get togethers in the off-season.

Could be fun if you made it so the team with the biggest Salary Cap total had to spot the other team two touchdowns and a $50k bonus for players on the winning team...
