Not sure if youve kept up eith Seniorbowl week

Kid came in at 6'6 252 (which is the exact same size as Daniel Hunter for the vikings and only 7 pounds lighter than Derek Barnett), and didnt appear to lose speed.

He's every bit of 6'6.  I just met him down here and im a little over 6'2.  He towered over me with Arms for days

Oh and he's powerful

Thats a 311 pound OT

I have not, that's why I was asking. Since 2015 I just haven't followed the draft process or the rest of the NFL as much. He looks strong which is great. Thank you for the information!

I really hope some of these QBs play really well at the senior bowl or show out at the combine.  I think 2 go before us but would be nice if 3 did but I do agree there is a good chance an quality edge is there at 16.

Haskins is going to be the first QB off the board.

Word on the streets down here at the seniorbowl.  Elway Loves him some Lock.  There is also a quote out there from Elway about drafting a QB so soon after the Paxton Lynch disaster.  He said he "plans to keep on swinging for a QB"

The Duke kid has the tools, has been up and down this week.  Learned from a QB guru and both the Mannings have taken him under their wing

Also, the Murray hype is real among teams.  Kid wasnt going to play football unless there was a real shot of him going top 20.  Kid has a ARM, people are liking his arm like Mahomes.  Scouts see him as a more athletic, stronger armed Russell  Wilson.  And after watching Wilson tear up the probowl skills challenge yesterday. Scouts are drooling for this kid.

Id honestly.....would......not.....be suprised if the Raiders packaged their other 2 1sts and made a play for him and move from Carr.  Chucky has really talked him up down here.

He comes to the combine and slings it like people expect, and runs a 4.45 or faster.  Even if he measures 5'10 185 with small hands.  Ots going to be buzzing.  If he comes 5'11 190+ and runs a sub 4.5 he is going to SHOOT up.

I still say magic number will be 3.  Could even be more as there are a few teams in big need for a QB

Right now

Gettleman is feeling HEAT to get a QB.  They were all over him to get one last year. Dont see him passing up with the way Eli played this year.

The Redskins, Alex Smith playing future is uncertain.  And behind that who knows

Elway is on Record he is going to keep swining for a QB.  And has personally been down here this week to watch them

Jax- is in desperate need for a QB.  And a trade is something I dont see happening.  They are trying to restructure deals JUST to get Under the salarycap for next year.  They cant take on a bigger FA QB.  Needs to be a rookie

Miami, has sent Marino to the senior bowl to watch the QBs

Yeh,.. supply and demand,..

the shortage of positions will go first and the overstock will drop.

its just what happens.

our team without hurneys BPA thing could end up taking another receiver, corner, or something none of us saw just for the same reasons.

Yup, BPA could be a linebacker and that is who he'll pick

6"6" 245 lbs? That's not Peppers replacement but Addison's. Not trying to hate on the guy, but show me a successful sub 250 lbs strong side 4-3 DE and I'll start looking at this guy as a possibility to replace Peppers. I would think 270 lbs for the strong side would be a minimum playing weight. Again, not saying he is not a good player, just not a NFL strong side DE. Anyone have any facts to disprove this?

Tak McKinley, Vic Beasley...

Also when I think of one of the most successful undersized DEs in NFL history, I always think about Dwight Freeney.  Of course I don't want to underplay Freeney.  Talent like what he had is one of a kind.  Yet all in all, he played successfully in the league at a weight around 260.

Yea I still don't get how/why people still are surprised that young kids aren't as heavy as NFL men with years of NFL S&C programs under their belt....

Also they don't get bio-mechanics and physics....6'6" players have this thang called leverage which helps make up for some of the weight so long as their technique is correct....if you ever played with your wirey skinny/lanky friend who was tall and noticed that he still could equal you in some sports even though you were stronger than him otherwise....ta-duh

The same mock draft has Jonah Williams going the next pick and Andre Dillard the pick after.

im going to say, I like Sweat,.. but a Left Tackle we need and in that scenario I say we take Jonah Williams— Assuming similar positions as BPA, then LT is it.
