The point is you DONT RELY on Jake to win the game anymore. You ride your talent, and when you have 2 of the BEST RB's in the league against the WORST run defense, you dont keep them on the bench.

We deserve this loss for our pathetic game plan.

Davidson needs to get his head out of his ass.

the run and the pass are co-dependent these days. you need a threat of both. you can't just be "run-only" or "pass-only", that's not going to get it done in the league today. Neither is your formula of not relying on the QB. He needs to be benched, really. It's the only chance we've got of trying to get something going.

like it or not as good as our two backs are it's impossible to go out there and run for 180 yards and 4 touchdowns combined every single week, and when the running game is shut down, at least you have a QB that can move the ball and also open the running game up again.

Blame it on the FO for foolishly ignoring the QB position for the greater part of the last 6 years, and extending Delhomme to a ridiculous multi-year deal after a miserable performance in the playoffs.

AK in short, you're saying turn our offense into a one dimensional offense. Just run over and over

When Jake Delhomme has already thrown 1 int in the game and the defense is LAST against the run- YES

We should have ran it down their throats today.

I do blame Jake for this loss, he SUCKED. But we should have LET williams WIN it for us today, not let Jake lose it for us.

ak is perfectly right in a way....the game plan should have been run down there throats......sanchez throws 5 int yet they were able to run for over 230 on the ground

main point is jake is done i have forgot everything he has done for this team....he is dead to this franchise as far as i know.

Thats all im saying. But we came out throwing on 2nd and 3rd down right out of the gate.

We should have used the momentum from the last Tampa drive and run right at them.

I know everyone wants to say "Hey we passed to much" but the truth of the matters is if the Panthers want to even have a shot at making the playoffs they had to get the passing game going and thats what they tried to do today, because next week we face a sick Cardinals run defense that's allowing 2.8 ypc on the season, we had to get it going because run and run some more wasn't going to work next week.

Up until that first interception it was working well the running backs were carving yards and jake was completing passes when he had to. He was 8/11 with 80 odd yards then he seemed to stop completing passes all of a sudden. The running backs were still getting yards but he couldn't back them up. To me that is the most important part of winning games the qb backing up the running game Foxball. If Jake can't do that then he needs to go and someone who can needs to step in because with #89 on the field there is no excuse
