Cam's Shoulder?

I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks on vacation in the Philippines.

What is that status of Cam's shoulder?  I have seen where nothing structurally was wrong with his shoulder just sore.  Is this accurate?  Are they going to wait until till March and say he needs surgery?

I would hate to see them waste so much time and then decide he needs surgery.

The Panthers are keeping information on Cam's shoulder a secret or they don't know much. We fans probably won't know much until months from now.

I just got back a couple of days ago and of course work comes first.  Going through the forum I really didn't see anything one way or the other.

I pray he doesn't need surgery and they wait like they did a couple years ago and he misses all OTA and mini-camps.

Just to rub it in a bit more.  This is my house I am building outside of Subic Bay.  I am retired Navy.  Met a woman in Dubai in 2011 and she happened to be from the same area the Navy base was.  So when I am ready to retire in a couple of years.  This is my home (80% complete) and the second picture is the view from my balcony.

I assume you have been there.  It was nice to be wearing shorts and sandals for 3 1/2 weeks.

Flew into Clark (the old AF Base) and drove to Olongapo City. Old Navy town.

Sadly, no, but my brother has. It's on my bucket list, though. I've heard nothing but awesome things about the place.

Well when I retire.  You can use me as a starting point.  May not want to stay but at least you can start there. Flying into Clark is a bit more expensive but going to Manila is such a PIA. It takes two hours or so just to get out of Manila sometimes. 

Don't bring anything but shorts and t-shirts.   It is a lovely place. Lovely women and good food.

The last I heard on his shoulder is that there is no surgery planned because there's nothing wrong with it structurally.  The plan is to rest it and try again next year.  A backup plan is being formulated in case he cant throw without pain.  That's all we know at this point.

That shot he took in the Pittsburgh game was nasty and using it every week after probably didn't help what was already sore, worse.  Hopefully the 5 months off will allow it to heal.

But allowing it to heal means staying off the weights so he'll still be behind the eight ball when it comes to spring training.
