LOL @ them, the NFL is an entertainment company.    Suing them would be like suing WCW when Hulk Hogan joined the NWO and ruined all childhood dreams.      All you get with a ticket is entrance and a football game.

Man I am so mad dancing with the stars voted off our favorite local turd dumpling so we need to get together and sue dem bitches.

Fun fact: NFL commissioner Roger Goodell actually does have the power to do this.

I'd pretty much bet a year's salary that he won't, but he could.

But do you restart at the missed pass interference or the series before with the miss face mask.  Why not go even before that for a missed call that effected a previous series?

Yeah it's a safe bet old Rog isn't "fixing" something that isn't broken.   Brees had the chance to be a hero and made the Rams fans cheer instead.  Brees ruined his own legacy.  Not a miss pass interference call before hand.

That would open such a huge can of worms if he did.

Honestly, I'm hoping the guy filing the suit gets smacked pretty hard to deter people pulling sh-t like this in the future.

I mean missed calls happen all the time even ones that are clear as day. Some calls that are made that are not even penalties like the roughing the passer call on Tom brady. It was 3rd down and just maybe New England does not score but you can't say that for sure. KC has a right to complain just as much as Saints but they are not. This may push the league to do something about the refs, but to think the game will be replayed is laughable and just ignorant.

so much assuming going on that that one play definitely without doubt changed the outcome of the game. for example, what if the Rams blocked that FG that would give the Saints the lead and returned it for a TD? brees could have fumbled the next snap, etc.

That is the point. It wasn't egregious or that big of a deal. It happens all the time. What about the penalty called on the Chiefs roughing Brady that didn't happened and gave the Patriots new life while two facemask calls weren't called when Mahones was throwing that would have extended drives?  This is a stupid lawsuit by butthurt Saints fans.  Hope it gets thrown out quickly.

I hope Roger responds that he willing to do the re match if they are willing to surrender the Super Bowl Throphy and rings from 2009  as he has re thought that he should taken it from them at the time. - The New Orleans Saints bounty scandal, widely dubbed "Bountygate,"[1][2][3][4] was an incident in which members of the New Orleans Saints team of the National Football League (NFL) were found guilty of paying out bonuses, or "bounties", for injuring opposing team players. The pool was alleged to have been in operation from 2009 (the year in which the Saints won Super Bowl XLIV) to 2011.

Lol this is so dumb

put a chip in the ball and laser over the field, put a ref in a booth with tvs and replay to make calls

lets pretend it’s nearing 2020 and we know better than relying on 80 year old refs jogging around past their bed time trying to remember where they parked
