If the refs called the face mask on the Saints the series before, it would have been 1st down on the one for the Rams, which they would have scored a TD. That was a blown call too. That changed the way the Saints marched down field too. Yes, the PI was a worse and obvious call but they got a break and still had OT to win it. Bad break and I would be pissed too but they got some breaks too.

They're an incredibly whiny, entitled fanbase which I think is reflective of a bandwagon in general.  I've known some Saints fans who were around for the original bag head days and they were actually pretty cool, but they're in the minority by now.  Yeah the officiating was poo and that happens but I doubt there's some league conspiracy against one of the NFL's undisputed golden boys in Drew Brees.

I mean people here are still angry about a literal Broncos fan officiating our Super Bowl loss which was full of questionable calls but I don't remember anybody suggesting a class action lawsuit over it.  If the shoe was on the other foot I think most people here would be brimming with rage at the coaching staff if they had criminally mismanaged our last drive of regulation like the Saints did.  They could have basically run the ball three times, burned all of LA's timeouts, kicked the field goal, and it's roughly 60/40 that they avoid OT altogether.

They win one super bowl and think they are a franchise with history on the level of the Steelers or Cowboys :eyeroll:

Imagine the threads here if Carolina was one game away from the Super Bowl and the same thing happened to them. I know sometimes the refs might not want to throw a flag in big situations like that if it's close but that couldn't have been more obvious. Good chance the Saints win if it gets called

Well poetic justice.

how about the “no call” blatant roughing the passer on Brett Favre,.. several the whole game but that last one before Brett through that interception was just criminal.

they dove legs hip, went full on helmet to helmet dove into his head high—-

most people would have been out of the game and cried but Brett got up and still tried to play—- of course Minni defense didn’t show up for overtime either.

so for me it’s pay back— nobody cares because it was Brett Favre, tough guy— but it was complete BS, hurricane Katrina give the guys a Super Bowl garbage.

so reap the whirlwind penises.

Oh yeh— Kurt Warner too.

if I was really bored I’d go troll the hell out of their board and bring up Kurt, Brett and then Peyton’s broken neck—

they got away with murder quite literally.

peyton was one of the NFL golden boys back then so you know it’s blatantly disregarded when they refused to call anything for him.

Brett— that was just painful to watch—- that team deserved to be in that Super Bowl, and sure the Minni players game that game away with like 5 fumbles but they were killing the Saints—

that high low hit on Brett was the most insanely blatant missed roughing the passer call in history— even with the older rules.

so poetic justice penises.

So we just going to sit here and pretend the Saints didn't get ten calls/non calls their way? They're officially a waste of space and can't win when it matters. The league props them up only to have them tumble down. I counted literally ten calls/non-calls.

--My copy and paste game today will be legendary.
