Doesn't matter what Mahomes and the offense does, if the D doesn't play a little better than that they're not going to have an opportunity to win.

I don't understand the philosophy to defer possession when your offense is by far your strongest unit. You have the #1 offense and the #31 defense. Let your best unit see the tone when you win the toss.

BINGO. What a stupid decision by the Chiefs to defer. Put your best unit on the field to start. This is what drove me nuts about the Panthers continuing to defer when the defense clearly sucked.

The Chiefs look like dog poo on both sides of the ball early. This might get ugly quick.

I was starting to post how this could get real ugly, real quick the way the Chiefs are going.

NE isn't likely to leave points on the field while they are on a roll against the Chiefs defense.  That killed the Saints in the NFCCG, and I do not expect the Pats to fall into the same trap.
