I know as Panther fans, we are conditioned to always be looking for a WR to sign....but I would be legit disappointed if we spend anything outside of "cheap" on a WR at this point.  I like Moore/Samuel to lead the way.

You have to have a plan. Just because you add Jackson doesn't mean our WR will get the ball. Priority #1 should be protecting Cam. He led us to the Super bowl with Ginn as his best WR. WR is not a main focus this offseason. We can find a big body in the draft which we lack. We have speed with Samuel and Moore.

Once player doesn't mean that we're not protecting Cam,  there's still Free Agency the Draft, cutting certain players to create cap room as well as renegotiations. Samuel has played what one year w/o injury and we're ready to walk into the new season with him as 1 or 2 and Moore is a rookie. Yes they need more reps but we have to be smart about it. But I do agree and have always felt that protecting Cam should be priority 1.

Cam has done well without a legit WR core, I don't see how spending big money on a older Desean Jackson makes any sense considering the other needs on this team. Our WR core is actually pretty decent and they have upside because of the age factor. We just disagree on this move I guess.

I've said this before: Samuel actually reminds me of a young Desean. 

If it happens, I'd be excited, but I don't think it happens.

I agree, pretty much every big bodied receivers we've had hadn't worked out, with Moose being the only exception.
