I don't even know why people are looking at the WR position. We are set with Moore and Samuel. Maybe we add a big body in the later rounds.

Yes, I want to add Desean Jackson because he makes the defense respect the position. It isn't about going deep every play, it's about giving the defense another reliable, speedy target to defend, which will also open up the running game more. We passed the ball to McCaffrey 124 times. We need a WR that brings that edge and experience with his game. Samuel and Moore are both good, but I'm not crowning them as a no. 1 WR yet. And whosever at the QB position can throw the ball 50 yards if that's all you're worried about.

I dont see it being a wise investment. It took us forever to get snaps for Moore and Samuel. Wright has shown to be reliable on 3rd, and Byrd can be had for significantly cheaper.

Now, if we bring in Fitzmagic as a backup that could be interesting...

This position isn't that serious.. We need backup options.. Maybe a big guy.

Wright is very underrated in my opinion. He's one of the better receivers we've had here in awhile. He may not be a pure speed guy but he has great hands and can get YAC.

He is going to cost a bit of money. Lets say Cam fully recovers, how does he have enough time to throw behind the shitty Oline he would have because we paid Desean Jackson lets say 8mil a year?

You have to have a plan. Just because you add Jackson doesn't mean our WR will get the ball. Priority #1 should be protecting Cam. He led us to the Super bowl with Ginn as his best WR. WR is not a main focus this offseason. We can find a big body in the draft which we lack. We have speed with Samuel and Moore.
